My name is Rory! I am currently a Year 12 student, at Swinburne Senior Secondary College. I moved to this school for my VCE studies. I have been lucky to study subjects that inspire me and I am passionate about.

When I was five, I saw my first musical with my Mum; “Hairspray”. I knew then I found a place that I deemed to be so special. I still have clear images in my head of their patterned dresses making shapes as the performers danced on stage. I was in complete awe.

Over the years my love of theatre has grown. I have continued to see many performances and be a part of shows of all kinds. Theatre has inspired me and given me a place I aspire to work. I love all aspects of theatre and hope that my patience, organisation, strong work ethic and love of bringing the arts to life, put me in good stead for a career in this industry.

Throughout the last two years, I have been dedicated to taking part in work experience at various theatre companies and taking every opportunity to deepen my understanding and develop my skills in the arts.
