At the end of November 2023, I attended the Moulin Rouge (Get Technical!) event.
This experience was developed to introduce year 10-12 Secondary School students to the technical roles in the industry. Staff from the many technical aspects such as costume, lighting, set and stage management, shared their experiences. They spoke about how they got into the industry, the work they undertake and skills needed for each role.
This event inspired me further and confirmed by desire to explore stage management as my career path.
